The Paula Carr Diabetes Trust is to fund 20 sessions of oxygen therapy at the Swanley Oxygen Therapy Centre for patients living with diabetes in Kent and Medway. Oxygen therapy is known to help diabetic patients improve their blood sugars, sleeping patterns and general wellbeing.

The new funding has been made available after patients reported important benefits following oxygen therapy sessions at the Canterbury MS Therapy Centre, also funded by the Paula Carr Diabetes Trust.
Ros Debling, a trustee of the Paula Carr Diabetes Trust, said: “Oxygen therapy has become an important part of the lives of a number of diabetic patients. We wanted to offer this to patients who may find travelling to Swanley more convenient.”
