We were delighted to be able to bring back our annual Summer Fete fundraiser this year. After two years of Covid greatly affecting our fundraising we enjoyed beautiful weather and an afternoon of fun, music and dancing.
Entertainment at the event included Recycled Jazz providing the music and West Hill Morris providing the dancing. We had a number of games and competitions including a Gnome Hunt, a Treasure Map, Name the Dino, Grab-a-Gift, Bottle Tombola and more!
The event also featured stalls including The Body Shop at Home, Penny’s Handmade Bags, Plants and Homemade Cakes. Refreshments were also available with a Gin Tent, an ice-cream van and hot drinks. Our Bowen practitioners Paul Dunn and Helen Malcolmson also provided demonstrations and information.
We subsidise our Oxygen Therapy sessions to make the therapy feasible for our members. Our Summer Fete is our biggest fundraising event of the year and helps to cover costs. We would like to thank all who attended and supported the event, including our invaluable team of volunteers.
